News after a long time

It's been very quiet around here and I guess it's been so because pupils and teachers of the two schools have been working hard!
Anyway, here is some news from Gennadio:
- two weeks ago an event was held about immigrants in Greece. Pupils, their parents, teachers and friends watched a documentary about immigrants and asylum seekers in Greece and there was also a lecture by a researcher from the National Center of Social Research about migration policies.
- although we didn't manage to meet this year, pupils and teachers from two Danish schools visited Gennadio. On March 22, it was a group from Nørre Gymnasium that came to Athens (pic 1) and then, a week later, a group from Gladsaxe Gymnasium (pic 2).

We had a great time meeting our Danish guests and we hope
they enjoyed it too!

A joint project

It's been some months we have started to talk about and plan a joint project on immigrant pupis in Denmark and Greece, looking forward to a cooperation between our schools on a long-term basis.
At the beginning of the second semester we started to work on the project and we hope everything will be ready until the end of this school year.
We started this blog so that pupils and teachers involved in this project can share information and post comments and news about our work. So...welcome to "Alleroed - Gennadio" blog!
